In all cultures of the world, plants have always played an important role: they provide sustenance and medical cures. And there are also many who believe certain plants have the ability to bestow good luck on those who get them as gifts or grow them at home.

This plant is known all over the world under many names, such as "jade tree" or "money plant". This is because it is attributed with ability to bring luck and prosperity. The scientific name is Crassula Ovata, and there is a widespread belief in China that this plant bring prosperity (even though crassula ovata is a succulent plant native to Africa). It has fleshy, jade-colored leaves (hence its other common name) which have somewhat rounded shape, reminiscent of coins.

Easy to grow, slow growing, and also easy to propagate, it's an ideal plant to keep indoors!

Dracaena is amongst the most widespread houseplants in the world, and in its natural habitat, it can reach truly remarkable dimensions. In particular, D. Fragrans Massangeana is considered amongst the best plants to keep at home, given that it is capable of filtering the air indoors. Its common name is "The Trunk of Happiness", and it is a very robust and long-lived plant, very easy to propogate.

This plants are considered a sort of amulet against bad luck, and according to some traditions, they are also symbols of prosperity and fertility. We all know how resistant they are even to low temperatures - so much so that they are one of the popular plants to grow during the colder seasons.

Furthermore, in some cultures, ferns are considered "welcoming" plants, perfect for placing at the entrance of the home. In short, they are good for anything!
