How many times do we discover that, in some corner of the house or garden, we have a small mountain of "junk" that we don't really know how to deal with? Maybe we put off the task of sorting out the various objects for ages. We constantly procrastinate getting stuck in and deciding what needs to be thrown away and what can be reused in some way. Sometimes, however, among these old and shabby / worn out items, there could be things that we could use to decorate the garden.

Many objects that can no longer be used for their primary purpose, in fact, could become planters or other decorative elements in the garden. Just finding the right idea is sufficient, and below, we show you ideas from which you can draw inspiration.

Old, wooden wagon wheels, with long and robust spokes, are perfect for creating flower beds with succulent plants, as well as compositions made using flowers and plants of various kinds.

An intact metal wheel (rim and spokes) could become part of a border wall. They can serve in the place of regular wrought iron railings.

Old chairs: these are among the objects that can be recycled most easily in the garden - perhaps under a canopy to protect them from the elements. They are perfect as a support / stand for flower pots, for example!

Never throw away galvanized metal tubs: they are perfect for containing flowering plants, and always make a great impression.

They can become, in fact, very large pots in which to plant a little bit of everything.

And various types of old, metal / tin objects can be used in the same way: buckets, watering cans and more. They will be beautiful as compositions in the middle of the garden.

Have you ever considered reusing an old spring mattress frame for plants? Tilladsiae (commonly known as airplants) are perfect for creating a greenry covered wall wherever you want.

An old table, on the other hand, is a perfect as a raised flowrbed, perhaps even a seedbed when it is covered with a net (to prevent the seeds from being eaten by birds before sprouting).

A car's wheel rim, secured to the wall, can become a very useful support for wrapping up the hosepipe.
