With a few scribbles this guy makes any photo more memorable: be inspired by these entertaining ideas

With all of us having cameras available wherever we go these days (since they are integrated into our phones, tablets and computers we always have with us), we frequently take pictures without thinking too much about it. And we don't worry too much about framing everything perfectly, finding the right light and generally checking the parameters that a photographer has to consider when the number of shots available are limited (which they are when using a roll of film in a non-digital camera).

So it is then, that we often find ourselves with blurry, nondescript photos, with subjects in strange and maybe even a little embarrassing poses. These could also end up on social media, causing us embarrassment. But there are photos which can become the canvas for creative ideas aimed at transforming them into memorable images.

This is what an Indian UI-UX Designer, Bhavika Makwana, does: for work, he develops the interfaces of computer systems; and for fun, he draws on non-digital photos he and his friends have taken, inserting animals and fantastical creatures that give a completely new flavor to previously bland images. These simple drawings turn unremarkable photos into imaginative stories.

Here's a poorly exposed photo, with eyes closed, and hair ruffled by the wind: it is one that we would delete from the photo album and definitely not print. But what if we filled the empty space with a giant panda holding a hairdryer, as if it were drying our hair? Now it's a completely different story!

How many times have we taken a photo of someone who is taking to someone else? We could change the subject and place a slightly annoyed bear like Bhavika Makwana did in on a friend's photo!

Here's someone riding around on a scooter with a bear on the back - a bear who is a little bit afraid of being transported on a vehicle which he doesn't exactly trust!

It would certainly be surprising to find a giraffe peeking into the window of a plane ... even though we know they have really long necks!

Here, the subject of the photo seems to saying: "No, you are going back in the water!", to a recalcitrant crocodile.

Not even the bear is satisfied with this selfie.

A dance in traditional costume becomes even more exotic if you add a snake draped over the dancer's arms - almost as if it were a scarf!

This was just a photo of a man walking under an arcade, but now he looks like a professor talking with his colleague in some mystical academy. And that's because his colleague is a wise, giant owl!

Have you taken an poor photo of some lake or seascape? If there is a boat (but even if there isn't) you could add some mythological creature (dragons, folklore monsters, krakens) that are emerging from the water and here, even if there were clouds and poor light, it immediately becomes an amazing image!
