When it comes to making garments by, crochet is the most overlooked technique (in favour of traditional knitting). In fact, if it is believed that knitting allows one to create lighter and softer garments, crochet has the reputation of producing only thicker, heavier and more antiquated creations. But this prejudice has been debunked in recent times: there are many crochet models and styles now from which one can draw inspiration to create tops, tunics, T-shirts, dresses, cardigans and even skirts which suitable for the summer season.

Once you have learned how to create the buttonholes with the thicker edge on one side, it is simply a repetition of the same technique for the whole garment - which also has a very simple, but elegant, shape.

You can also create tops to wear like any T-shirt. With a V-neck, scoop-neck or whatever style you prefer: there are so many ideas of this type online, and when the shaped top - albeit simple - is produced, it will be beautiful in its simplicity.

Using lightweight yarns, even heavier-looking garments will be pleasant on the skin during spring and summer. And you can also consider making garments that have slightly longer sleeves - but perhaps kept wide to guarantee the lightness of the style.
