All you need to do is add a top to your IKEA Kallax 4x2 compartment cabinet to create a perfect breakfast nook - simple but functional. Complete the look as desired with drawers, doors, or fabric storage containers (for all your breakfast goodies). And for seating, IKEA Ingolf stools will be perfect.

If the space available to you is particularly small, the IKEA Kallax 2x2 furniture unit will be sufficient for you to set up your breakfast nook: add a coutertop in Hammarp oak and close off the shelves with doors or drawers. Now, you have a comfortable and intimate space for you to enjoy your breakfasts.

Free walls are usually filled with cabinets or cupboards, but they (or at least one) can be perfect for your breakfast nook: an IKEA Kallax 4x2 cabinet, with four feet to lift it off the ground (or wheels to move it around more easily) and a Hammarp oak countertop will be perfect for this project. And there will also be space to tuck away your stools when you are not using them.

Take an IKEA Kallax 4x2 cabinet and a Linnmon table with height-adjustable legs, join them together and you will have the perfect breakfast nook in your kitchen.

5. Divider nook

Divide up the different areas of your kitchen by setting up a breakfast nook: even a kitchen reduced to having only one wall available can accommodate a IKEA Kallax 4x2 furniture unit on four feet and a supporting surface/countertop of your choice: choose a top with dimensions slightly larger than your Kallax furniture as this will give you the necessary space to accommodate your breakfast stools.

Finally, we take a look at an interesting, creative recycling project that combines the great versatility of IKEA furniture with the reuse of old furniture: recycle the drawers and wooden planks from furniture that is no longer in use and use them as a countertops for your breakfast nook by securing them to the top of a IKEA Kallax 4x2 cabinet unit. This project may be a little more complicated and require more effort, but it will certainly delight you with its creativity.

Have you already identified the spot where your will place your breakfast nook?
