Living in a home that is always clean and perfumed everyone's dream. But unfortunately, it often happens that bad smells persist despite all our efforts to remove them and mask them with a pleasant perfume. When we cook, certain foods have a very strong and pungent smell and this odor can impregnate the curtains, sofas and all the other fabrics in the house.

So, how can we deodorize while doing another household chore? The solution is very simple and all you need is an appliance everyone has! Let's find out what this is together:

The clothes iron is not only useful for ensuring our clothes are wrinkle-free, but it can also be used to perfume the whole house. To do this, you just need to add a few ingredients to the distilled water. Get some baking soda and your favorite essential oil and you will soon have a perfect home-grown perfume to use whenever you do the ironing. Mix a few drops of essential oil with half a spoonful of baking soda and dissolve it in 250 ml of distilled water which you pour into the iron. You will smell that fragrance - not only on your ironed clothes - but all over the house!

Other cleaning tools that can perfume the house during use are:

  • The bag of the vacuum cleaner: while vacuuming, you can spread a pleasant scent throughout the house. Just put some cotton disks soaked in essential oil into the bag.
  • Toilet paper: the TP roll can be used to perfume the bathroom by simply adding a few drops of essential oil to the cardboard tube of the roll.
  • Paper towelling: for the kitchen instead why not do the same as above for the paper towelling tube?
  • Finally, to perfume wardrobes and drawers, you can also use cotton balls soaked in essential oil.
