Use wine glasses imaginatively by recycling them to make your Christmas decorations

The Christmas holidays are the time of the year when everything is tinged with a special atmosphere, including our homes. From the entrance to the various rooms of the house - and perhaps even outside - homes are covered with ornaments and decorations full of lights and all the symbols of the festive season.

It's nice, among other things, to have some decorations on windowsills, shelves or the tops of furniture, or maybe even in the center of the table waiting to be surrounded by diners. Among the many objects we have at home we can use for these decorations, one can use wine glasses (even ones that might be earmarked for the trash). Take a look below for some inspiration:

If you have some Christmas miniatures, such as gnomes, Santa Clauses, reindeers and so on, you can create beautiful scenes to "immortalize" under inverted wine glasses.

A coat of paint: a paint of any color or type can transform your wine glass in a thousand ways. If you then use stencils to trace letters, you can compose words and greetings by placing some wine glasses together.

A painted wine glass can look like Santa Claus!

And if candles are generally placed on the base of the upturned wine glasses, you can go even further by creating a more complex, sophisticated composition.

Simply fill wine glasses with white beads (styrofoam balls, for exampl), and then draw on the rest of the design with a marker (or glass paint) and you will now have lots of adorable snowmen to decorate your home with.

Alternatively, you could use a polystyrene ball for a head, and then "dress" your wine glass snowmen.

With a little time and dedication, you can also create decorations that seem to defy gravity, with braids of ornaments running from the bottom of the inverted wine glass to the base - just like they are suspended in the air.

And adding candles to your compositions is always a great idea.

Inverted wine glasses can rest directly on a surface or on a base, such as wooden coasters.

And how about giving the impression that the glass is pouring out decorations by tilting it to the side?

What decorations would you like to make using wine glasses for Christmas?
