Have you ever gone to a clothing store and stopped to gaze at the jeans shelf in awe? All those neatly folded pants are truly impressive. Certainly, there are many who admire the skills of the employees who can do this.

Jeans in particular, are among those clothes that give use the most difficulty when it comes to maintaining order in the wardrobe: often placed on shelves, if they are not folded properly they really take up a lot of space, making the entire wardrobe look chaotic and too full. Let's find out from a video on TikTok video how to fold our jeans like a pro.

  • To fold your jeans like a pro, the first thing to do is to lay them out on the bed folded in half, lengthwise.
  • Then fold the top half of the back pocket downward.
  • Fold the first leg horizontally at the height of the crotch.
  • Fold the first fold on the legs so that it will fold across the second leg.
  • Finish by folding the first leg back to form a square.
  • Wedge the bottom edge of the leg under the other folds so that the jeans stay folded and do not unravel.

Now, your jeans will be ready to be placed on the shelf; this method is a very valuable space-saver that will guarantee tidy cabinets and will also make it easier for you to find the right garment quicker.

If instead of folding them, you prefer to hang them, then you have several options:

  • Hang them up by the foot seams: this method uses clips and guarantees jeans will always look ironed, using their own weight; the drawback is the need for a space tall enough to have the jeans at full stretch.
  • Hang them by the belt area: in this case, using clips guarantees that the jeans will always keep their shape, but you won't have any pleats.
  • Fold them over a hanger: in this case, hangers with the crossbar can be used; the advantage of this method is the possibility of hanging up many trousers, along with shirts on the same hanger.
