What material is able to give us warmth and hospitality to our home more than wood? It is difficult to imagine finding a material which is as equally versatile and easy to work with. It is the material that most DIY projects use, especially those aimed at furnishing or decorating a house.

For the best results, we generally go to shops that sell various types of pre-shaped wood - from boards to beams and so on. But for those who have a bit of experience, or a great desire to test themselves with DIY projects, recycled and/or reclaimed wood can be used. Here are some project ideas:

From the entrance, to the patio, to many other spots in the house, a simple and sturdy bench on which to sit (or on which to place ornaments) always comes in handy. A model like this one is not difficult to make.

And what about tall, slim tables? They are suitable for furnishing corridors, but also to create a useful surface in the living room, especially behind the sofa. And in some cases, by adding stools, they can be a table where you eat your dinner while watching TV - like counters in a bar!
