The owners of dogs or cats have to face a certain truth: their animal friends are wonderful, they keep everyone company, (and sometimes they are just like children), but it is undeniable that they leave mountains of hair lying around. Long or short, it is always an annoyance and hair can be found practically everywhere: on chairs and sofas, on tablecloths, towels, and even the curtains. If you suffer from allergies, you could also suffer due to pet hair in the environment.

And if you try to clean pet hair up, you will realize how hard this is to do. A casual sweep of a broom over the floor or a brush to clothes is not enough. It takes persistence and perseverance. So how can you easily clean up pet hair? A video-tutorial teaches us this skill. Read on to find out:

In Cleanthatup's tutorial on Tiktok we are shown how to remove cat or dog hair from fabric-clad furniture. To do this, you need to get a special brush for hair removal and rub it vigorously over the surface to be cleaned. The hairs will lift off the furniture and you can easily pick them up and throw them away.

A mini-size pet hair brush was used in the tutorial. Convenient for carrying anywhere, it is suitable for fabrics and carpets, at home, in the car and for use on clothing. It is equipped with a rigid rubber cleaning blade, which traps even the most stubborn hairs when passing the brush over fabric. There are several makes on the market, each suitable for the different characteristic of an animal's coat.

Other cleaning methods

In addition to a manual brushing, another very useful method for removing hair is the use of a special vacuum cleaner for pets. This type of vacuum cleaner is equipped with a turbo brush (a motorized brush capable of capturing hair very effectively), and has a HEPA 13 filter (an odor-neutralization filter).

If, on the other hand, you don't want to waste time picking up pet hair, the only solution is to replace all the furniture which attracts hair: fabric furniture and cushions should go. You can also choose a smooth-surfaced floor, preferably parquet. Remember to clean regularly, at least once every two weeks, and wipe the furniture down with a damp cloth. Air all rooms regularly - at least once a day - and maintain a low level of humidity in your home.
