Artificial flowers do not always enjoy great popularity: sometimes they are made in a really poor way, and if we want them to look realistic, they can cost a lot. An excellent alternative is to make them using paper: whether they are made in a stylized way or shaped in such a way as to make you believe that they are the real ones, they always have a charm of their own. They are beautiful because they express one's creativity, and taking a few hours to make them every now and then can be a relaxing activity.

They can be used for permanent decorations at home, such as those inside vases or hanging on the walls, but they are also an excellent resource for decorating for some special event. There are now ways to make practically any flower you would like! Here are some ideas you could consider:

A nice project for children: lilies made using the shape of a hand (traced on paper).

Magnolia flowers - these are more unusual and really beautiful. A few bunches of these flowers are beautiful to decorate the home for both special occasions (perhaps placed near the table with the food), and in everyday life.

Pink carnations: the ruffled and numerous petals of those flowers are made with tissue paper, but American coffee filters could also work, if they are suitably dyed.

Peonies: these are among the most spectacular flowers in nature, and they know how to attract attention - even if they are artificial and made of simple paper.

If you had old books which are destined to be thrown away - a thing that most people regret doing - it can be better to give them another more creative and pleasant end - like maybe making hydrangeas out of them!

These super paper tulips have geometric shapes and extremely bright colors: think about what a burst of joy they will bring to any room when arranged in a vase.

Almost any flower with petals can be created using coffee filters.

But even more rigid flowers, perhaps made with cardboard or Bristol board, can be beautiful.

There will always be those who love roses, and learning how to make them with paper can be a lot of fun.

A little patience is needed to make these gorgeous wisteria flower clusters: gather your materials, turn on the music and off you go!

And if you like doing this, you might end up making giant paper flowers to decorate your walls.

Are you ready to unleash your creativity?
