In the good weather, you want to be outdoors and cook over a fire, so you need to prepare the grills that will have become dirty and rusty during the winter. Iron brushes, vinegar or lemon juice, and the flames themselves will be your best allies when cleaning these food grills!

When the warm weather arrives, it's time to thoroughly clean the heaters and the fireplace. Depending on the models, there will be various methods and products to use: but the important thing is to remove all the moving parts, wash them carefully (and don't forget the flues), so they are in good condition when the cold returns!

The small trash cans in the kitchen and bathroom may get cleaned quite often, but the larger ones - like those used for recycling and those placed curb-side -  also deserve to be cleaned once in a while. And this time of year is perfect for this chore. Arm yourself with your favorite degreasers (you can also use bleach-based ones), and get stuck in. And maybe don't let as much time pass again before your next intervention.

If you keep your spices on exposed shelves, both the shelves and the spice jars will get really dirty. The same goes for bottles of condiments like oil and vinegar, salt, sugar and similar. Clean all these items using a suitable degreasing product, especially for items which are near the stove.

If it's been a while since you've cleaned your vacuum cleaner thoroughly, now is the time to do it: depending on the model, you can easily disassemble it, and clean the parts thoroughly. Avoid using products that are too aggressive on plastic and rubber parts, and don't hesitate to use a few drops of an essential oil such as tea tree oil to perfume the machine.
