Spring returns every year and allows us to enjoy life in the open air: we like to leave the house, or even just be on the balcony more often, enjoying the milder temperatures and the awakening of nature which returns to enchant us with its budding flowers and leaves. It is also nice to dress up the outside of the home with spring-themed decorations: flowers, plants, branches, and also the symbols of the season, all inspired by nature.

There are a thousand ways to decorate the entrance to the home, especially if there is a porch or a balcony. Below we make a few decoration suggestions that will suit all tastes.

If you want to set up a corner where you can relax - perhaps to take tea - it would be nice to use cushions and crockery in soft and bright colors, surrounded by pot plants.

The color of the light wood, combined with neutral-tones upholstery, and seasonal flowers and plants will brighten up your outdoor spaces.

A cheerful little corner, with a shelf made from a ladder, and seasonal flowers arranged in a creative way.

If you have a couple of wooden fruit crates and a few galvanized metal buckets, you can create a lovely corner with whatever flower pots you like.

What about decorating the door? Why not hang up a basket with seasonal flowers? It's a more unique idea than using a standard wreath!

Even when the metal buckets and containers are a little rusty and battered, they will look lovely when filled with flowers!

A lovely shabby chic arrangement in shades of sage green, perfect against a white background. Rustic materials and flowers - a very nice idea for the entrance to the home.

A very easy composition to make is to fill a large vase as if you were planting a shrub, but then insert three straight branches of some tree, adding thin flowering branches and filling the base with spring seedlings.

Even olive trees in pots can decorate the area elegantly.

On the threshhold steps, metal vats can contain bulbs that bloom in spring!

And those who have the skills, festoons of flowers and branches can be arranged all around the front door - perhaps even decorated with eggs and other symbols of Easter.

Which idea do you like best?
