Anyone who owns a black or dark-colored car knows how difficult it can be to wash perfectly. Making it completely shiny is often difficult, due to the stains and streaks that tend to remain even after rinsing - not to mention small scratches which are much more visible on a dark car.

Some prefer to solve this problem by taking the car to a car wash and having it cleaned by professionals. But you can do this yourself.

In fact, there are a number of tips and tricks that allow you to wash a black car without leaving a trace. Read on and we will reveal these tips to you:

To make a black or dark car shiny again, try following these tips:

  • Equip yourself in advance with two buckets: one full of water and detergent (the one you usually use for washing the care) and one full of clean water for rinsing.
  • During the dirt and stain removal phase, use a microfiber cloth or glove or, alternatively, a sponge for the shower that is large and soft enough to avoid leaving scratches.
  • As you proceed with the washing, rinse the cloth or sponge from time to time to prevent causing micro-scratches on the bodywork. Additionally, you can choose to use two cloths or sponges: one for the lower part of the bodywork, (which is always the dirtiest area), and one for the upper part and for the windows.

  • To avoid streaking, you can add white vinegar to the water and its anti-limescale properties will ensure that the surface of the car is left streak-free. Of course, the vinegar solution must then be rinsed off as it could ruin the car's finish.
  • Once all the dirt has been removed, rinse off thoroughly with clear water.
  • After rinsing, it's time to dry the bodywork very carefully. For this step, you can use a glove or a dry microfibre cloth.

Your car will shine like never before and with very little effort.

What are you waiting for? Great work!
