How to use WD-40 as a cleaner is TikTokker, @cleaningwithgabie. The woman explains how to use the product to clean a trash can.

Often, your trash can will still get dirty, even if you do use a bin liner to protect it. Well, if your bin is a metal one (stainless steel, for example), just a little WD-40 might be enough for you to effortlessly clean the trash can.

As you can see in the video, the woman is equipped with:

  • WD-40
  • a soft cloth
  • A metal scraper

To clean the trash can:

  • Spray a little WD-40 on the lid, (if it is dirty, of course);
  • Remove the dirt, which will now be softened by lubricant, with the scraper (but do not to scratch the surface);
  • Rub off with a soft cloth (lint-free) and the lid will be clean and shiny again.

You do not need to use a lot of WD-40, and focus on the area to be cleaned. Being a powerful lubricant, it is necessary to wear gloves to protect your skin during these operations. And maybe even dedicate a cloth to this operation to avoid any WD-40 getting onto other surfaces.

In short, it's a quick and easy cleaning method that can come in very handy!
