For starters, here is a delightful fountain in a perfect rustic style: to make it you need a wooden barrel, a bucket, a tap and a pump. Connect the various elements, and that's it.

With two old watering cans and a tin basin, you can make a vintage-style DIY fountain. The watering cans pour water into the basin below, again, powered by a water pump.

An old terracotta pot / amphora (even a slightly damaged one) can also serve as a fountain. Place it on the ground in a horizontal position, and connect a pump to it so that the water flows into a small pond below.
