One of the most important holidays of the year, and one in which you will want to celebrate the occasion with some appropriately themed decorations, is certainly Easter. In this period, which often also coincides with the return of spring and therefore the enchanting awakening of nature, one feels the desire to decorate the hone with animals and flowers. Rabbits, chicks and not only these become the subjects of many decorating projects - and one nice, unique and useful way to create these decorations is to use towels.

In particular, smaller and thin towels are more suited to this - towels of the type which are usually used to dry one's hands in the bathroom (washcloths). But there are cases where larger towels can also be used. By folding and twisting them as appropriate, a bit like you do with origami paper, you can create many different animals and even colorful flowers. Check out the ideas below:

By twisting a white, pink, gray or brown towel on itself, so that it becomes just a long twisted piece with two spiked ends, and then folding it into a "U" shape so as to join the spikes together, then tying them together with a rubber band, you will have a basic shape of the bunny. In fact, you will just need a ribbon tied in a bow to bring out the rabbit ears, and then some decorations for the eyes and nose, such as buttons or store-bought googly eyes.

A rabbit shaped towel can also be used as a soap holder in the bathroom. You can also use the hollow behind the nose and ears to hold anything else that fits and could be useful in the bathroom, not just soap.

In fact, if you think of it as a basket, it could be the ideal to present chocolate eggs with. And it will be even nicer if you use some brightly colored towels to make the bunny-basket shape.

A yellow towel becomes a fluffy chick, super cute to find in the bathroom.

There are also those who manage to create more complex animals, which look like proper hand-made soft toys, such as here where a cute bee has been made.

Among the various ideas to get inspiration from, you could even choose unicorns made with bath towels!

And by finding matching, colored towels, you can set about making a bunch of fantastic flowers, such as tulips.

Would you like to try to create some decorations for Easter by folding up towels like those shown here?
