How many times have you forgotten to take dinner out of the freezer in time? If you are looking for a quick way to defrost food, try this: Place a saucepan in the sink with the bottom facing up, place the food to be defrosted on this (bottom) and place another pot on top of it, filling it with hot water. Thawing out will go much faster.

Adhesive labels are always very difficult to remove from any type of surface and often leave glue residue. Take advantage of the action of heat to remove labels easily and without leaving any residue; just direct the hot air of the hairdryer on a label to dissolve the glue and remove it easily.

Alternatively, you can also place the object in the microwave (if microwave safe, of course): the heat it will make the removal task easier.

To prevent a paper towel roll from opening up on the dispenser and getting dirty, put it briefly on a tap. In this way, when the paper is dry, the roll will be perfectly sealed.

When you need to pour yourself a canned drink, try this simple tip: place the tab of the can upright, then start pouring into the glass, resting the can on the edge. The tab will hold onto the glass, securing the can and will allow you to drain the can completely while you can do something else. Brilliant, right?
