Perforated panels are a great resource and a very smart solution for keeping the house neat. Perforated panels were first used in workshops, where keeping tools in order is vital.

Later, these panels made it into homes, where they are now widely used.  However, the area of the home where they make the most impact remains the garage.

Here are some useful ideas on how to effectively organize your garage space using perforated panels.

One use for a perforated panel in the garage is to equip a wall which is dedicated to hobbies and sport. Having everything at your fingertips will make it even more pleasant for you to enjoy these passions.

Moving on to the more traditional use of a perforated panel, thet are great to store work tools, and holding small boxes containing, for example, nails, screws and other small objects (divided by category).

A technique for hanging up hammers, is to install parallel hooks that protrude from the panels - just like how they are displayed in hardware shops.

While a more useful and intelligent idea could be to reuse tin cans secured to a panel as containers for the different types of tools (and smaller objects).

Clearly, an advantage of having a wall covered entirely with perforated panels is that it will allow you to manage and order your work tools in an optimal way and according to criteria that you can select yourself. Some place their tools in descending order of size; others sort them by color or shape, and so on. Each wall can be managed and organized according to your needs.

For an even more organized and easy-to-manage environment, you can consider having chests of drawers put in underneath the panels. The space you gain will be signficant and look even neater.

Another upside to having a perforated panel wall is that you can hang just about anything on it. If space is limited, you can, for example, even hang up bicycles.

Gardening tools are also often kept in the garage. For those who love gardening and have a lot of garden tools, a perforated panel wall could be ideal.

Finally, another advantage of having perforated panels in the garage is being able to hang up the tools used in the laundry (mops, brooms, rubber gloves, etc) - provided the garage is not damp, of course.
