1. A candle in the closet

Candles aren't just a "tool" that helps us see in the dark or provides an essential ingredient for a romantic evening. Another practical use for candles is to help us manage our clothes in the closet. If friction prevents your hangers from sliding properly on the closet hanging rod, you can rub a candle on the rod: the deposited wax will help reduce the force of friction.

3. Place shoes face-down

When you are on the beach and take off your shoes, pay attention to where and how you leave them. Placing them in the shade and upside down will make them absorb less heat and at the end of the day, you can put them back without suffering discomfort.

4. Racking up leaves

If you have a lot of leaves to rake up in the garden, you will certainly do it faster using this method: place a very large bag on the ground, making sure it is fully open, rake the leaves into the bag and, when finished, you can easily lift it and transport it to the composter.

5. Strawberries are great!

To eat strawberries without bothering about the stalk, take a straw and push it through the strawberry: this will remove the stalk, leaving the rest of the fruit whole.
