To make creative and personalized pen holders, take some glass jars and apply a strip of masking tape to the central part. Then, cover the lower part of the jar with PVA glue and apply some colored glitter to it.

Let the glue dry, remove the tape and your pen holder is ready to be filled. You can also make vases decorated with designs and colored ribbons using the same technique: there is no limit to what you can create.

Creating a romantic candle holder is very simple with this method:

Take a glass jar and apply PVA glue all over its surface. Sprinkle the jar entirely with fine salt and let it dry. Finally, add a colored ribbon with a bow to the top of the vase, in line with the thread for applying the lid.

All you have to do now is insert a wax or LED candle into the jar and your romantic evening can begin.

Finally, there is the fantastic project of making a combo photo frame that is also  a flower vase, a pen holder or a candle holder. This is an extremely simple project:

Make a window in the size and shape you want using adhesive paper (or masking tape) and applying it to the glass jar. Paint the entire surface of the jar with acrylic paint in your favorite colour. When the paint is dry, remove the adhesive paper, which will expose the window. Then, take a photograph and cut it to the size of the window.

Apply PVA glue to the front of the photograph and insert it into the jar, directly behind the window.

Let the glue dry and your photo jar combo is ready for use.
