To permanently eliminate dust from walls and ceilings, get the following items:

  • a spray bottle
  • a broom or mop
  • document clips
  • a microfiber cloth
  • floor cleaner/detergent
  • water

Start by diluting 60 ml of floor cleaner/detergent in a liter of water and pouring the resulting mixture into a spray bottle. Then, prepare the broom by wrapping the bristles end in the microfiber cloth, secured with the document clips; it is important that the cloth used is a microfibre one because its antistatic power it will remove dust more effectively.

At this point, spray the mixture on the cloth and pass the broom over the walls and ceilings to remove any cobwebs and dust. Thanks to this method, you can easily clean all the most inaccessible places in your home, including tall furniture, air conditioners, light fittings, etc. The mixture is also suitable for use on furniture: it will not leave streaks or damage surfaces. And your home will be free from dust for longer!

By preparing a mixture with 180 ml of floor detergent, 90 ml of vinegar and 100 ml of water, you can produce an excellent insect repellant (to be used as described above, but also sprayed directly on windows and mosquito nets).
