When buying a new product (or when we get tired of stickers or decals used in the home), we often find ourselves having to remove a troublesome, sticky label. It could even happen that the label comes off in pieces, leaving unsightly paper residue or sticky spots that immediately pick up dirt.

So how can we remove sticky labels without wasting too much time and effort, and without damaging the objects from they are removed? There is a very simple trick to do this and we explain it below:

On the @twinshomemeg TikTok channel, you can find many tips for the home. And among these, is a tutorial that explains how to remove adhesive labels. We find these labels everywhere: on new cutlery, on furniture, on glass surfaces, and also on knick-knacks, containers and kitchen utensils. Usually, these labels can't be removed on the first try. Or maybe they break into pieces. If you find that it is difficult to remove an adhesive label, try the following:

Pour a little white wine vinegar into a small bowl and sprinkle the label to be removed using with a silicone brush, leaving the vinegar to act for a few minutes.

At this point, try to remove the label again and you will see that it will come off easily, without leaving any residue. We advise you to always do a test on an inconspicuous area to make sure that the vinegar does not damage the surface you are working on. Watch the video to see the result!

There are other methods to remove sticky labels: a common one is, for example, to heat the surface with a hair dryer before trying to remove the label (in order to soften the glue). But you can also try warm water with dish soap, an alcohol wipe, spray lubricant, ordinary cooking oil, or peanut butter. In all cases, be careful when working on delicate surfaces.

What method do you use to remove labels and stickers?
