We all have a nook dedicated to storing brooms, dustpans, cleaning tools, detergents and spare cosmetic or pharmaceutical products. Whether it's a cabinet, a closet or the under-sink area in the bathroom, it's always important to have a space dedicated to this purpose and even more fundamental that it is kept clean and tidy

If your storage cabinets are always on the verge of exploding, try following the guidance given below. Cleaning up after doing this will be a breeze!

The first thing to do is to empty the broom closet out. Certainly, over time, you will have accumulated loads of objects that you may not even remember still exist. Our advice is therefore to empty closet out completely and to throw away all those items which you do not/cannot use (like empty bottles). When this operation is completed, you can proceed to repacking the closet: divide the products by type and use containers, perhaps labeled, into which you can divide the detergents, spare cosmetic products, microfibre rags and everything else. Place brooms, dustpans and other cleaning tools in a separate compartment, perhaps secured with special hooks or straps.

Now your closet will be clean and tidy, and you will be motivated to clean the rest of the house!

In terms of the under-sink area in the bathroom, proceed as for the broom closet. First of all, it is important to empty it out completely. Usually, this cabinet is used to store all our stocks of bathroom products of various kinds that we buy in bulk. Determine which items you can throw away: remember that even cosmetic products have an expiry date, indicated on the packaging. If you have products that have been open for a long time and they have deteriorated, throw them away. Use containers to store categories of items together: brushes and combs, other hair products, sponges, oral hygiene products, bath and shower products, soap, feminine hygiene products, etc. Using this method, it will be much easier for you to find what you need when you need it!

Are you ready to tidy up your closets?
