  • Perfumed bags with salt and tea: there are teas with a very pleasant aromas, often citrus, whose bags cost very little. These are useful for making DIY scented sachets. In fact, you just need some fabric bags, choosing light and breathable fabrics, and fill them with a tablespoon of coarse salt and the contents of one or two tea bags. It is a remedy that lasts for weeks, if not months, and is easy to refresh.
  • Rice: rice also absorbs moisture, and with the help of a few drops of essential oil it becomes an excellent deodorant for small, closed rooms that are subject to this humidity problem. You can fill a bag or a bowl with rice. Alternatively, take a cup of rice and add 20 drops of essential oil (you can also mix several essences together), cover with a piece of light and breathable fabric, hold the fabric in place with an elastic band and place the cup on a shelf inside the cupboard (or into a drawer). This remedy also lasts a long time and leaves a slight perfume on clothing inside the cupboard/drawer. If you use brown rice, you will need to change it a little more often than white rice.
  • We also remind you that, similar to rice, you can also use a few tablespoons of baking soda in a bag or even 200 grams in a cup. Or use coffee grounds in a similar way.
