When something breaks at home, some of us just throw the thing in the trash and replace it; others rely on a professional to fix the item. Then, there is a third group: DIY lovers. For this group, there is nothing that cannot be fixed with a little intelligence and a bit of luck.

This guy wanted to avoid a second trip, and he found a solution. A little precarious and even risky, for sure, but certainly inventive.

This family still uses their balcony, despite being precariously secured with poles. Their neighbor isn't sure it's a good idea and honestly, neither are we!
