There is something very pleasant about entering a bathroom that not only looks clean, but is also smells good. Fresh, floral, citrusy, spicy: for each of us, the choice of perfume can be different, but they always have a great impact.

A nice-smelling environment, in addition to being pleasant, is also beneficial for one's mood. And it also doesn't hurt to know that it will impress our guests. There are many methods to perfume the bathroom after cleaning it, and below we show three that use natural scents.

As the cleaning expert TikToker @mama_mila_ also shows, you can try three solution, one of which is really famous and simple:

  1. The most common, in fact, is the one that uses an object that we have at the ready and is "in plain sight" in the bathroom: the toilet paper on the roll. But of course it can also be used on spare rolls that are (usually) next to the loo. As many will have already guessed, this involves taking an ampoule of your favorite essential oil and putting a few drops (3 or 5 at most) into the cardboard cylinder of the roll itself. This will soak up the oil and slowly release a pleasant scent throughout the room. You can refresh the perfume every few days, when it fades.
  2. Another method consists in exploiting the natural aromas of certain plants, such as eucalyptus, mint, lavender and so on (i.e. plants with aromatic and with balsamic scents). All you have to do is hang one or more twigs upside down in the bathroom. Sometimes it is recommended to use a dried sprig, but this is not strictly necessary. Whenever the hot steam emanating from the bath or shower reaches the sprigs, they will diffuse their scent throughout the room.
  3. Finally, you can take advantage of the garbage pail: take a cotton wool ball (but some scraps of cloth or absorbent paper will do too), pour some drops of essential oil on it and put it at the bottom of the pail, before lining it with a garbage bag. The perfume will counteract any bad smells from emanating from garbage.

These are simple actions that can make a big difference, making our home feel even more "like ours"! Click here to watch the video on TikTok.
