There is something extremely inviting about a well-made bed, even if we don't always want to get it absolutely perfect. Just by having a tidy bed and tidy sheets, the room can look 50% neater.

And if we really want to commit to doing things right, maybe we even iron the sheets when we remove them from the line. But let's face it: it's not that fun, and most skip this step - especially if it's a really busy week or if it's very hot. So can we do when we have a sheet, that no matter how clean and fragrant, is full of wrinkles and folds, even when placed on the bed?

Don't worry, you can solve the situation with an easy-to-prepare product.

Showing how to prepare this product use it is TikTokker @carolina.mccauley. It is an inexpensive remedy that is worth trying: it could become an emergency resource when unexpected guests come and we do not have well-ironed sheets.

The necessary ingredients are:

  • 500 ml of water (demineralized or distilled)
  • 60 ml of isopropyl alcohol
  • 60 ml of laundry softener

Preparation and use:

It really very simple. Take a 750ml spray bottle, perhaps made of glass, and fill it with the ingredients listed above, in the order given. Close the container and shake to mix.

At this point you just have to spray the preparation on the wrinkled sheet (but without soaking the fabric): proceed in sections, from one side of the bed to the other. As soon as you spray each section, stroke the area with your hands, resting your palms on the sheet and pressing down as you pull them along - just as if you were ironing the sheet with your hand. Continue from section to section until you complete the whole sheet.

Since there is some alcohol in the mixtue, it is still a good idea not to use this method every time you make the bed, otherwise you risk ruining the fabric. However, it can be an excellent solution when there is no time to do otherwise!

Have you ever tried a method like this?
