Thoroughly clean the sink with the help of a drill: a TikTok tip to try

There are people who have learned every home cleaning secret from an early age. Then there are others who do not know where to start. So for some, occasionally engaging in a thorough cleaning session of the home is the norm, while for others, this is something that really does not cross their minds. And when you finally have to take measures, satisfactory results are not always obtained.

The kitchen sink, for example, is one of those places in the home that is always in contact with food residue and other types of dirt, including limescale in the water itself. And if you don't remember to thoroughly clean all the nooks and crannies regularly, you find yourself having to work a lot harder.

This is why we are always looking for some cleaning method that is effective, fast and simple. One of these could be using a drill, as seen on many TikTok videos.

One of the accounts that has garnered many views regarding deep cleaning techniques for the sink, is @nottheworstcleaner. A video on this account show a cleaning procedure step-by-step, one of which was carried out using a drill.

Obviously, it is not a question of using a drill bit that is capable of putting holes in the sink, but uses a round brush that saves one from using a lot of elbow grease. Brush tip kits (for drills) of various kinds can be found on online sites, as well as in hardware stores or DIY shops, and using them for cleaning can be fun too.

In the TikTok video, we also see that the use of the drill is not the only step of this thorough cleaning process: there is also the use of a combination of bicarbonate and vinegar for the drain (which helps to unclog the drain and eliminates any bad smells ). A spray product is also used to degrease the sink and the sponges. Not surprisingly, the woman states that this is a really thorough cleaning, one that is done only once in a while. But the results are really admirable, don't you think?
