Marseille soap, water, baking soda, lemon, vinegar: these are the main product you will need to clean floors well, and just by combining them in different ratios to make natural detergents which will be perfect for any surface. While baking soda is valuable for sanitizing surfaces, it is equally valuable for removing any grease and even urine stains. So it's great if you have cats and/or dogs at home.

On the other hand, white vinegar disinfects and removes bad smells, while lemon has degreasing and sanitizing properties. What about Marseille soap? This helps to degrease even the most delicate floors, and it polishes and cleans thoroughly. The beauty is that with these simple natural products, you can clean any surface, from parquet to marble, from stoneware to terracotta.

Do you have a parquet floor? Clean it with a mixture of water and 1/5 vinegar, but be careful to squeeze the mop out well because otherwise you risk damaging the floor. Also make sure you use this solution only on varnished parquet. If the floor is very dirty and stained, we recommend adding a vegetable liquid soap to the mixture.

If the floor is marble, avoid using baking soda and make a mixture of water and liquid Marseille soap. For 2 liters of water you will need at least 2 tablespoons of liquid soap. Mop the marble, making sure you squeeze the mop out well as you go. If the marble has annoying yellow spots, you can remove them with water and lemon juice. If you also want to polish it, rub the surface vigourously with a simple woolen cloth.

To clean a stoneware floor, you can use a glass of vinegar, 3 liters of hot water, 4 tablespoons of alcohol and Marseille soap flakes. If you want, you can use only white vinegar and a few flakes of Marseille soap, pouring them directly into a bucket of water.

Given its incredible resistance, a terracotta floor is usually found outside of the the home: to clean it, the best ingredient is white vinegar, which is simply poured into warm water and used to wash the surface. Half a glass is enough for 2 liters of water.

Great work!
