Remove all traces of dirt from the shower cubicle using vinegar: it is inexpensive and super-effective

Dirt and limescale impact the shower cubicle, which is why this space requires regular cleaning. Although there are numerous ready-to-use detergents, relying on natural products you get a double advantage, both economic and environmental. White vinegar, in particular, is great for cleaning every component of the shower cubicle, from the walls to the shower head, from the taps to the shower floor.

Vinegar is also useful for cleaning and removing dirt from tiles which tend to blacken over time. Just mix it with hot water and that's it. Not to mention that it is a precious ally in the removal of annoying limescale deposits. The only difference compared to commercial products is in the application time. Vinegar needs more time to sit and act on the treated areas, but its effectiveness is guaranteed.

First step: the shower walls. To clean them, all you need is a sponge, 1 glass of vinegar and hot water. The sponge, which must not be abrasive, should be dipped into the mixture and passed over the glass or tiled shower walls, but if you prefer, you can spray the mixture on the surfaces by pouring it into a spray bottle first. Once this is done, don't forget to rinse the walls off properly.

Second step: Now it's time to move on to the shower taps, which are often covered in limescale. Vinegar is also useful in this case: just pour it into a spray bottle together with hot water, spraying the solution directly on the taps. Wait at least ten minutes and remove the solution with an abrasive sponge. Finally, rinse off thoroughly.

Third step: Now we come to the shower head, which is also usually affected by the accumulation of limescale. To clean it thoroughly, you need to take it apart and immerse it in a bucket filled with water and at least 2 glasses of white vinegar. Leave it to soak for at least an hour.

Even the shower floor cannot be left out. You can pour vinegar directly into it and wipe it clean with a normal sponge, rinsing off as soon as you're done.

Final step: Don't forget to clean the tiles. They also accumulate dirt over time and must be carefully sanitized. But be careful, because if they are made of marble or natural stone, vinegar could damage them and you will therefore have to resort to another method. If not, you can safely use vinegar, cleaning them with a sponge.  Happy cleaning!
