Candles are a decoration that complement any setting and, with minimal effort, can create an elegant and unique atmosphere. In this case, you can make them yourself using a tall cylindrical vase (or more). Iinsert an evergreen twig/sprig of your choice. Add some red-colored details; small artificial berries work well, along with a pine cone, and fill the container with water. Place the candles on the surface and light them. Don't worry; they will float.

We put on the decorations for our tree, bought new baubles and garlands, and now we have several "scraps" left over. What do we do with them? How about a beautiful little tree to use as a centerpiece? We can easily create one ourselves by equipping ourselves with a small wooden board - not too long or wide -  to which we can add two small wooden feet on the lower part using glue. Once the base has been prepared, we begin to arrange the spare balls in a pyramid, securing them withhot glue. A string of LED lights will complete a fascinating and gorgeous centerpiece.

Decorative balls are useful not only when given a shape, as we've just seen with the "ball tree" above, but also when positioned next to each other in a glass container. Choose one with a shape you like, and before placing the balls, create a base with streamers or artificial snow. On this base, position the balls and, in a jiffy, your centerpiece is ready.

Wreath and candles

A wreath, sprigs of red berries, a circular tray, and a few candles are all you need to create this centerpiece. Nestle the berries among the branches of the wreath and place it on a tray of the same diameter. In the center, position a candle (or two), light it up, and the setup is complete.

To create this centerpiece, start with a tall vase that is not too wide. Decorate the base with a wreath of balls, secured with hot glue. Before creating the wreath that will surround the vase, remove the top part of the balls—the hook part usually used for hanging on the tree—and insert twigs with berries. Once done, all that's left to do is to light the candle inside the vase and enjoy the show.

As an alternative to the candle, you could also opt to place a snow-covered fir tree in the container, giving it a mountainous effect.

What can we do with three small tree logs? Well, we can turn them into charming centerpieces. You can use one or ore, varying their heights, and before adding other details, painting them white. This will serve as a base for our snowmen, and we'll draw on the eyes, nose, and mouth. This cheerful scene will then be completed with a hat and scarf. Aren't they adorable?

We love making sweet and savory delicacies and we usually buy paper doilies to place these delicious treats on. We often have so many that we don't know what to do with them. Instead of discarding them, let's transform them into a delicate Christmas trees. With the help of some hot glue, create cones of various sizes and attach them to thin wooden sticks, arranging them from wider to narrower, creating the form of a tree. What delightful centerpieces!

We've cut down a small tree in the garden, and now we have some leftover logs. Great, let's carve out some holes in their centers and insert candles. A few pine cones, twigs, and berries arranged around a single log or a group of varying heights and sizes will complete the most elegant setting we could hope for. Our table will be stunning.

How can we create a centerpiece where an entire Christmas scene fits into a vase? Let's start with the vase, then glue houses, figurines, and small trees inside it. Allow the glue to dry and then fill the vase with transparent water gel beads until they cover the scene. Once done, take Santa Claus on his sleigh and position him among the beads before using more beads to cover him. Fill the vase with water and use a stick to remove any air bubbles that may have formed.

We've seen that charming centerpieces can be created using pieces of wood. Another creative solution that involves using wood is cutting disks from a branch or small log. By gluing three (or more) of them together, we can create a base to be painted and bring to life these cheerful and amusing characters. Simply draw on their faces, add scarves and hats to "protect them from the cold," and decorate your table. What a delight!

There are many solutions to decorate the table in an original way, providing us with the opportunity to have some fun with DIY projects. Not only will everyone enjoy the process, but the results will be worth it.
