When it comes to growing plants in pots, many say terracotta pots are the best choice. And often, plants are sold in terracotta containers. However, when a plant gets bigger and needs to be transplanted to open ground, what can we do the the now-empty terracotta pot?

There is a limit, after all, to how many cuttings and new plants we can have around, no?! Well, how about turning empty terracotta pots into decorations?

Old terracotta pots are perfect for creating bird-baths and feeders: using the pots, you can create a supporting column, and a saucer, old dish or tray can hold the water! Let's help out our feathered friends.

And, as mentioned, you could create a bird feeder using a terracotta pot. The important thing is that it is suspended so that, rodents or other animals cannot reach the feeder.

Find a rigid and sturdy support, and then lots of small terracotta pots which you can recycle... In a jiffy, you'll have a unique wreath to hang up.

Given that these wreaths will tend to be heavier than normal ones, choose a suitable place to hang them up, such as a sturdy wall.
