Permanently remove hair and lint from your laundry with these foolproof tips
When washing the laundry, it can happen that our clothes get covered with fluff/lint, forcing us to choose between wearing them as is, or throwing them in the trash.
What causes lint on laundry? The main cause is the rubbing between the different fabrics, which is why it is advisable to wash our garments inside out, in order to avoid lint from forming. This practice also allows you to wash the garments more thoroughly.
Did you know, however, that there are also two very effective tips which will allow you to prevent the formation of lint during washing? Thanks to these two tips, your garments will always come out of the washing machine perfect and like new, without ever getting damaged.

There are two products that can help us prevent the formation of lint during the washing:
- Sponges: get yourself a classic kitchen sponge or a body sponge and put it in the washing machine, directly into the drum together with the laundry, and start your wash. The sponge will pick up all the hair, lint and fluff. This method is especially effective for removing pet hair from our clothes.
- Wet wipes: wet wipes can be placed directly in the drum together with the laundry; by starting a wash cycle without a spin cycle, the wipes will trap all the lint, preventing it from being deposited on the clothes. The amount of wipes to use will obviously depend on the amount of laundry you will be washing. For this purpose, use resistant wipes; you can test them by pulling them between your hands: if they break, you will need to use more resistant wipes. Their strong absorbency will attract all traces of dirt from your clothes.
If you still notice the presence of some lint, you can resort to using another trick: put some adhesive paper/tape on the part of the fabric affected by the presence of lint and pull off: the lint will be completely eliminated.
