A clever, quick trick to clean your oven top quickly and efficiently
Anyone who has to deal with kitchen cleaning knows how tiring and frustrating it can be to return an oven (and the oven tops) to pristine condition. Of course, there are many cleaning products for this in shops. But this chore normally always needs patience and elbow grease.
What if we told you that there is an effective and handy remedy - used by many chefs - to make your kitchen oven shine again quickly? Yes, it can be done and you only need two products which you probably already have at home.

The solution that we propose here consists in the preparation of a cleaner capable of easily dissolving grease and dirt and exploits the cleaning properties of two ingredients that we use every day, namely:
- Dishwashing liquid;
- Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda).
To prepare this DIY cleaner, just combine three tablespoons of dishwashing detergent and two tablespoons of baking soda in a container (like a spray bottle). Mix the two ingredients together and then add a glass of water. What you will get will be a thick, frothy mixture. Once done, use this mixture on the oven and its rings, rubbing around with a steel wool sponge. Leave to act for 10/15 minutes and then rinse off with a microfibre cloth. Wash and squeeze the cloth well several times and until all the foam residue and grime has been removed. Before long, your oven top will be shiny and looking like new again. As we said, it is a cleaning method used by many chefs in large restaurant kitchens. There are many other home solutions that involve the use of natural and non-natural products that are easily available at home. This employment, however, is particularly useful.
