Don't know where to start to tidy up your bedroom? There is a very simple tip that solves this problem

The bedroom is where we rest and relax and sometimes postponing tidying it up. If the other areas in the house are more demanding in terms of being kept clean - like the bathroom and the kitchen - we can be a bit more "tolerant" of a messy bedroom: straightening the bed and a flick of a duster can often suffice in the bedroom

But inevitably the time comes when you have to roll up your sleeves and clean properly everywhere. Everyone has their own methods, of course. But if you still haven't found a way works for you, check out the advice below!

This "magical formula" is easily summed up in this expression: "Throw everything on the bed". It seems weird, but it's an almost foolproof way to properly clean the bedroom (and other areas).

First step: look around and identify everything that is out of its place. Pile these items on the bed. You will notice that by  clearing shelves, tables and corners of clutter will improve the general look of the room, and above all, will make it appear easier to clean and dust the room.

Second step: When all surfaces (even the windowsill!) have been cleared and cleaned, deal with the pile of items you placed on the bed. This is the time to sort everything out.

  • Books and knick-knacks that need to go back to their place should be dusted and put back;
  • Have a garbage bag (or something similar) ready for all the things you need to throw away;
  • Divide the clothes to be stored in the closet from those that need to be washed. For those clean clothes that you don't feel like putting back in the closet, try placing them inside a storage basket.

Third and final step: finish the cleaning.

  • Change the sheets and blankets on the bed;
  • Sweep and wash the floors.

This method also works in any other room -  just find a large surface on which to pile everything up on (like a table, a bathtub or the kitchen counter). And you can also use this method whenever you have to tidy up in a hurry!
