However small and underused it may be, the front garden of our house is at least as important as the back yard. Indeed, it is the first thing that guests and neighbors will see.

In fact, a front garden can say a lot about the people who live within the walls and certainly if it is not looked after, it can reflect badly on us.

Whether you have a passion for gardening or just want to see it neat and orderly, we suggest 10 possible ways to make the most of your front lawn.

1. Classic

If you have classic tastes and you want to express it at home, then a simple driveway surrounded by an English-styled lawn is the right cholce for you. To delimit it, use your pot plants with tall trees: as they grow, they will create a shady pergola on the driveway and, when spring blooms, they will bring color and joy.

2. Triumph of green

Even a simple bed of green plants in the center of a manicured lawn gives a very classic, clean and tidy look to your front garden.

3. Rock garden

If, on the other hand, you love the dry and rustic look of stones, then the rock garden is ideal for you. You can choose to play with colors when choosing plants - the final effect will be wonderful.

4. A garden for the lazy

If you don't have the time or will to take care of your garden, you need a space that is tidy and cared for without human intervention. The ideal is a garden of mulch or stones, perhaps of a different colours, with a few succulent plants scattered here and there. It will thrive on its own for years.

5. Spectacular

If you want to be noticed by passersby, a spectacular garden is the right answer for your needs. An excellently maintained lawn, flowerbeds full of evergreen plants, shrubs and flowering bushes, in an overabundance of colors and shapes. Admiring looks are guaranteed.

If flowers are your passion and you love to surround yourself with their bright colors and heady scents, the ideal is to create flower beds in all the available space. Also take advantage of the porch or the canopy at the entrance for suspended planters - you will love them.

7. Beautiful and accessible

Love the idea of a spectacular garden, but don't have the time or money for it? The solution is to create a richly composed flower bed using low maintenance plants. There are many highly resistant species, which are able to give of their best even in harsh conditions. They will give you an Oscar-worthy garden for minimal effort.

You don't like gardening, but you would still like a well-kept, elegant garden. You can easily create one using colored stones scattered around a few low-maintenance bushes or small shrubs. A gardener's visit from time to time will still be a must, but it will be worth it.

9. Weed control

Do you love plants and sometimes allow yourself a few hours of gardening, but hate the thankless task of pulling out weeds? Have you ever thought about mulching your flower beds? Mulch kills weeds, doesn't dry out in summer and looks wonderful even in the middle of winter.
