Cleaning the shower is usually the most painstaking and toughest job when cleaning the bathroom. It is, in fact, the operation that requires the most meticulous care, patience and time.

This is because the shower is often made up of different kinds of materials, all requiring different cleaning techniques and products.

However, there are some tips that, if followed carefully, could save you a lot of time and allow you to get the job done quickly.

Among those who have provided tips for cleaning the shower, is @vanesamaro91, a TikTok user who is very popular for sharing content of this kind. In one video, in particular, she comes up with a suggestion that might seem trivial or even obvious: the shower cubicle is almost always full of all the products and accessories that we use for personal hygiene. Proper cleaning may be hampered or slowed down by this. Her advice, therefore, is to remove everything from the shower before cleaning. And to do this, this Tiktoker uses a plastic basket. If you want to follow @vanesamaro91's advice, she advices you buy a basket like this (check out her video here). So, before you get to work, remove everything you have in the shower, place it in the basket and set it aside. Now, the shower cubicle is ready to be cleaned.

If your goal is speed but you don't want to give up doing a thorough, there is another tip this content creator demonstrates in another video (which you can watch it here). Get an electric brush used for washing dishes. It is easily available online and you can buy one that you will only use for the shower. Fill it with dish soap and white vinegar and use it on all surfaces of the shower cubicle. In a very short time, dirt and limescale will be removed and the surfaces can be rinsed off. The whole procedure is very fast, but it is really effective.

Give it a try - you won't be sorry!
