Sometimes, we are discouraged by the tiny size of a room in the house from furnishing it with the bare essentials; at other times, space is not the issue, but it is the budget that sets the limits. In these cases, however, it is not clear that you should throw in the towel and be satisfied with what you have: there are often other ways to furnish room.

In most cases, it is bathrooms and the kitchens that pose these challenges, but even the bedroom is sometimes a headache. Here are some cases in which people, using DIY, have managed to revolutionize their homes so much that they are now unrecognizable.
