Household cleaning is a tedious and tiring, but necessary, chore. We often find ourselves having get out a broom, a shovel, rags, a mop and bucket of water - when all we want is to laze on the sofa in good company. But there are things we always forget about, even when spring cleaning. But, it is important to pay attention to these items too, because cleaning them makes our life easier and much more pleasant.

When we think about our fridges, it is usually the cleaning of the interior that we take care of. The same goes for air conditioner units. Raise your hand if you have ever thought of cleaning the condenser coils as well. And who of us would be able to even find them? Of course, with built-in refrigerators this is more difficult, but if the coils are reachable, it is worth using a vacuum cleaner on them. It will help to the fridge to consume less electricity and prevent breakdowns.

When we clean the bathroom, we make sure that we have sprayed a sanitizing product on every visible surface, leaving them perfectly clean and shiny. But can we be sure we've done all we need to? How many times have you removed the toilet seat completely to clean the spaces underneath it as well? Try it - you will be surprized to see what dirt lurks there!

The faucet aerator

Whether in the bathroom or in the kitchen, our faucets are usually cleaned quite often, to avoid limescale build-up and staining. But we often forget that limestone can lurk anywhere, even in our faucet aerators. So let's remember, the next time we clean our taps, to unscrew the aerators and immerse them in a solution of vinegar or lemon and baking soda. Doing so will also improve the water pressure.

Will you remember these three items next time you spring clean? Watch the video on TikTok to see how in detail!
