Coffee capsules have revolutionized the way we consume one of the most popular drinks in the world: many flavors and aromas at your fingertips, very easy to prepare and in a very short time, without even having to wash the machine afterwards. It is therefore not unusual that they are used widely all over the world, but what can we do with the capsules once they have been used to make the coffee?

We generally throw them away, but we could also consider keeping them, emptying them out thoroughly and recycling these colored aluminum capsules to create lots of decorations and crafts full of originality. We give you some ideas below:

The easiest way to recycle them is to crush them to flat discs: basically you just need to use a hammer to turn them into thin discs that can be used in a thousand ways. For example, just make a small hole to create simple key ring charms.

Or they could become the element of a colored curtain to use at home (like a beaded curtain, but using flattened capsules).

Many discs joined together and just laid on each other can be formed intobracelets that are always different depending on the color combinations used.

After flattening the capsules, you can also fold them to create slightly different shapes, as if you were modeling the petals of a flower. In this way you can create decorations to be used for jewelry (such as necklaces), and more.

For example, they could become very unique dangling earrings.

Without altering their shape, capsules can hold small succulents, such as those that are separated from the mother plant when we want to propagate them. Miniature pots, full of imagination, will be born in this way.

Some have come up with the idea of using them to create the stem of a table lamp.

Or they can become a colorful wall clock with an innovative design.

Add a cardboard cutout of the same color as the capsule and it can become a perfect touch to make a decoration for a graduation party.

Glued to a spherical object (such as a polystyrene ball), they are transformed into a very special three-dimensional decorations to be hung up wherever you want.

Those with an artistic streak will be able to create a thousand different shapes to make truly fascinating compositions.
